About C&W Manufacturing

Our Shop

A Full-Service Precision Machine Shop

We are a precision CNC machining, fabrication, and mechanical design facility located in California’s Central Valley. Our work spans the full lifecycle of a machined part: from engineering review and material sourcing through machining, outside processing coordination, inspection, and delivery with complete documentation.

We specialize in close-tolerance components from aluminum, stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium, nickel alloys / high-temp alloys (Inconel 625 and 718), and engineering plastics like UHMW, Delrin, and PEEK. Heat treating, anodizing, coatings, NDT inspection, primer, and paint are all coordinated through our qualified vendor network.

Our quality management system is AS9100D certified. We are ITAR registered and CMMC Level 1 certified with Level 2 in progress. We run ProShop ERP on AWS GovCloud. Contact us for secure handling of CUI and export-controlled data.

Our Mission

Manufacture precision components for industries where failure is not an option.

We machine, fabricate, and deliver tight-tolerance parts for aerospace, defense, space, and critical industrial applications. Every job is planned, tracked, and inspected against print before it ships.

Our Vision

To make parts that will end up on the moon, Mars, and beyond.

We’re building toward the work that pushes boundaries — space hardware, next-generation defense systems, and the precision components that advanced programs depend on.

Core Values

The Foundation Behind Every Part

Passion

We care about the work. We study the prints, ask questions when something doesn't look right, and take pride in holding tolerances other shops would call unnecessary. When a machinist at C&W sends a part to inspection, their name is on it.

Resilience

Exotic materials, tight tolerances, multi-step outside processing — those are the jobs we lean into. A tool breaks mid-cycle, a vendor misses a window, a material cert comes back with a question. We don't hand the problem back. We work it until we find the path forward.

Ingenuity

Not every part can be made the way it was made last time. Creative fixturing, rethinking an operation sequence to reduce cost, finding a better material match — we treat every job as a chance to be clever about the work.

Our Origin

Wilson Chalabi

Wilson Chalabi started machining at twelve years old at a local machine shop in Tehran, where he began by cleaning chips and assisting machinists. His natural ability with tools and technical knowledge meant he picked up real machining skills quickly, and it wasn’t long before he was running his own shop in Iran.

When circumstances led him to Germany, Wilson took general labor jobs where his work ethic and reliability stood out. He eventually immigrated to the United States and settled in Turlock, California, where he took a job as a welder at S&A Manufacturing in Livingston. It took eight years of saving and learning before he could open his own shop.

In 1997, C&W Manufacturing became a reality. The name comes from his son Christopher and himself, Wilson. Within three years, Wilson had expanded the facility and moved to a larger location. He continued to invest in CNC equipment and take on increasingly complex work across multiple industries.

Wilson believed in progression through the growth of technology and constantly updated his machines and his knowledge for the modern world. He was a man of action and worked until he passed away in 2021.

Today, C&W continues under the next generation, carrying forward the standards and reputation Wilson built from nothing.
