C&W Manufacturing is an AS9100D-certified, ITAR-registered aerospace machine shop in Turlock, California. We machine flight and ground-support hardware from aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel and other high-temperature alloys on 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC mills and CNC lathes, deliver AS9102 first-article documentation, and handle controlled technical data under CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171. Prototype through production, for primes and subcontractors nationwide, since 1997.
The facts a sourcing engineer needs first, in one place. Everything below is repeated in more depth on our services and about pages and documented on the certifications page.
Titanium, Inconel 718 and 625, Hastelloy and 17-4 PH are routine, not exceptions. Roughing, heat treat and finish sequences are planned so aged parts come out on size, and every lot ships with material and process certs.
7050-T7451 and 7075-T7351 plate to AMS 4050 and AMS 4078, including ultrasonic inspection requirements, for brackets, fittings and housings machined from solid.
AS9102 first article reports, CMM inspection data, certificates of conformance and full traceability from raw material to shipped part under the AS9100D system.
ITAR and CUI drawings move through a U.S.-hosted secure channel and live only on the CMMC Level 2 environment. Read our guides to ITAR, CUI and CMMC and deciding whether a drawing is CUI.
SolidWorks-based mechanical design and DFM review; we will tell you when a tolerance, radius or plate thickness is costing more than the function needs. See the DFM guide.

Three things: an AS9100 quality system rather than ISO 9001 alone, because AS9100 adds the configuration control, first-article inspection, counterfeit-part prevention and traceability that aerospace customers audit; the ability to machine the aerospace alloys (7075 and 7050 aluminum, titanium, Inconel and other nickel superalloys) to tight tolerances; and the export-control and data-security posture (ITAR registration, DFARS 7012 / NIST SP 800-171, CMMC) that defense-adjacent aerospace work flows down. C&W Manufacturing holds all three.
Yes. C&W operates an AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system registered by an ANAB-accredited certification body, and performs AS9102 first article inspection. The certificate is available on our certifications page.
Aluminum alloys 6061, 7075, 7050 (including thick UT-inspected plate to AMS 4050) and 2024; 303, 304, 316 and 17-4 PH stainless; 4130, 4140 and 4340 alloy steels; titanium Ti-6Al-4V and commercially pure grades; Inconel 625 and 718, Hastelloy X and C-276, Haynes 282; and engineering plastics such as Delrin and UHMW. Our resource library has a selection guide for each family.
Yes. C&W runs 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC mills, the largest with 50 inches of X travel, alongside CNC lathes including a dual-turret machine and manual turning to 24 inches in diameter and 60 inches long.
Yes. C&W is ITAR registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, JCP DD-2345 certified to receive DoD technical data, and holds CMMC Level 2 status in SPRS with NIST SP 800-171 compliant handling of controlled unclassified information. Export-controlled data is accepted only through a U.S.-hosted secure channel, never a web upload; contact us first and we will set one up.
C&W Manufacturing is in Turlock, California, in the Central Valley between the Bay Area and the Sierra. We serve aerospace and defense primes and their subcontractors nationwide, along with agriculture and food-processing customers, and ship parts across the United States.
A drawing or model, the quantity, the material and specification (for example 7075-T7351 per AMS 4078), any finish or heat-treat callouts, the inspection level you need, and whether the data is export-controlled or CUI so we can route it correctly. Our guide to writing an RFQ walks through each item.
Defense program? See our ITAR-registered machine shop page for how export-controlled data is handled.
Send the drawing, the quantity and the material spec. We respond within one business day, and we will tell you up front if the data needs the secure channel.
