A bracket like this is all about relationships: the four bolt holes to each other, and the centre bore to the pattern. Machining every feature in one clamping means those relationships are set by the machine's positioning, not by how well a second setup was picked up, and it removes an operation from the price.

Counterbores are cut to the fastener head, not to a round number, and the centre bore is finished with a boring cycle when the fit calls for it. Brackets of this type are common in aerospace ground equipment, agricultural machinery and food-plant installations alike; the process is the same, the paperwork differs.

Machined at C&W Manufacturing, Turlock, CA. AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR registered.
