Stainless Finned Hub with an Integral Sprocket
A stainless steel hub with machined cooling fins and an integral sprocket, turned first and then milled on the 4th axis so the teeth and fins are indexed from one setup.

Making the sprocket part of the hub removes a key, a keyway and a joint that can loosen, at the cost of a more involved machining sequence. The body and fins are turned, then the part moves to the mill's rotary 4th axis, which indexes each tooth from the same centre the lathe used. That is what keeps the teeth evenly spaced and concentric to the bore.
Fins are a machining decision as much as a thermal one: their spacing has to leave room for a tool that can reach the root without chatter, which is a design-for-manufacturability conversation worth having before the drawing is released.
