Production Lot of Turned Stainless Bushings
A production lot of stainless bushings, turned, faced and chamfered on the CNC lathe and lined up for inspection before they ship.

A bushing is judged on one relationship: the bore concentric to the outside diameter, both held to size through the whole lot. Turning the OD and boring the ID in the same chucking is how that concentricity is built in rather than inspected in, and consistent chamfers on both ends are what make the parts drop into an assembly instead of being persuaded.
Stainless bar work-hardens if the tool rubs, so feeds are kept positive and inserts are changed on a schedule, not when the finish starts to tear. Lots like this one run on our CNC lathes; larger diameters move to the manual lathes, which handle work to 24 inches in diameter.
